Op zondag 3 november stond een belangrijke wedstrijd op het programma voor dames 2. De dames speelde tegen Orion Ruchpen. Samen met Internos bezetten deze drie teams een gedeelde eerste plaats in de competitie. Het was dus belangrijk om te winnen. Met een grote selectie van maar liefst 13 spelers verschenen zij aan de start. Erg geconcentreerd werd begonnen aan de wedstrijd en al snel stond er een stand van 7-0 op het scorebord. Bij deze stand ging het mis. Er werden veel fouten gemaakt in de verdediging en ook de in aanval werd verzuimd om te scoren. Orion wist uiteindelijk terug te komen tot 8-6 waardoor de wedstrijd er weer helemaal anders uit zag.
Na rust begon Groene Ster weer geconcentreerd aan de tweede helft en kon de voorsprong gelukkig weer snel uitgebreid worden. Halverwege de tweede helft verslapte de dames weer even. Dit keer was het echter van korte duur en werd het spel weer opgepakt. De voorsprong is hiermee de tweede helft niet meer in gevaar geweest. Na nog een aantal laatste verzilverde penalty?s kon een eindstand van 19-13 genoteerd worden. Later op de avond bleek dat Internos haar wedstrijd verloren had, waardoor Groene Ster nu alleen aan kop staat in de competitie!
